The newest addition to the restaurants of Houmas House is now open! Dixie Café, located inside the Great River Road Museum, serves a well-rounded breakfast buffet.

Guests will enjoy panoramic views of the Houmas House Gardens and the Amphitheatre while being steps away from the Inn at Houmas House.  For guests staying in our Inn, breakfast is included in the room rate.

Breakfast is available 7 days a week from 8am-10am.

Lunch •  Kid Friendly • Buffet Available

Our buffet has returned and is now in the new Dixie Café!   Located inside the Great River Road Museum, the lunch menu offers a large buffet with local favorites like Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, Fried Catfish and more.  An a la carte menu is available as well which offers quick and casual options like sandwiches and salads.

Guests will enjoy panoramic views of the Houmas House Gardens and the Amphitheatre while being steps away from the Houmas House Mansion.

Lunch is available 7 days a week from 11am-2pm.
